Pharmaceutical client in Tesano is looking for a:

Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst

5 days a week- min a Bachelor’s is required

Job Summary

The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for conducting routine analyses of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished pharmaceutical formulations. The role involves collecting and testing samples, operating laboratory equipment, conducting stability studies, and interpreting analytical results to assess product quality and stability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and test samples of APIs and finished pharmaceutical formulations.
• Operate laboratory instruments, particularly High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) equipment.
• Conduct real-time and accelerated stability studies to evaluate product quality over time.
• Interpret and document analytical and stability study results.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline is welcome.
• Two to four years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Practical working knowledge of HPLC is mandatory.
• Proficiency in operating laboratory instruments.
• Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in laboratory testing and documentation.

Additional Information

• Location:Spintex, Accra

Working days & hours

Mon-Fri, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Occasionally, Saturday work might be required and will be additional pay

Salary

• 2300-2900 net – slightly negotiable
• 13th salary (prorated if you worked part of the year)
• Extra pay for Saturday work, when required.
