Position Overview
As a key liaison between clients and our internal teams, the Senior Account Manager will oversee the development and execution of strategic marketing and advertising campaigns. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to
foster long-term client relationships while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients to drive satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Proactively identify client opportunities and recommend innovative solutions to achieve their business goals.
StrategicÂPlanning andÂCampaignÂManagement:
- Work closely with clients to understand their objectives, target audience, and competitive landscape.
- Lead the development of strategic campaign plans, ensuring alignment with client goals.
- Collaborate with creative, media, and production teams to develop and deliver compelling campaigns across various platforms.
ProjectÂOversight:
- Manage the execution of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Oversee briefs, proposals, timelines, budgets, and other project documentation.000 ne
- Monitor project performance and provide regular updatesto clients and internal stakeholders.
TeamÂLeadership:
- Mentor and guidejunior account team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Act as a resource and escalation point for the account team, resolving challenges as needed.
- Encourage a positive, solution-oriented team environment.
Financial Management:
- Oversee budgets for client accounts, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling agency services to drive revenue growth.
- Track and report on financial performance, including forecasting and profitability.
PerformanceÂAnalyticsÂandÂReporting:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize results.
- Prepare and present detailed reportsto clients,highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications,PR, Business, or a related field.
Experience
- 5+years of experience in account management within an advertising, marketing, PR, or creative agency.
- Proven track record of managing high-profile accounts and successful campaign delivery.
Skills
- Strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles across digital, print, social media, and traditional channels.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and CRM software.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
PreferredÂAttributes
- Experience with major client industries such as FMCG, technology, or finance.
- Familiarity with current advertising trends and consumer behavior insights.
