A constantly growing European Real Estate Development firm is looking for a CFO

for its Accra Head Office near Airport Residential

Ideally, you are a CA with Big 4 experience

Ideally (but not a must) you have experience with real estate development/ construction, or mining, or engineering industries

 

JOBÂSUMMARY

The CFO/ Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s financial, administrative, and operational functions are in line with the mission and strategic goals of the company, and advising the Directors on financial and strategic issues.

 

DUTIES ANDÂRESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.▪ Manage budgets and oversee cash flow.

▪ Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial plans are followed.

▪ Provide financial advice to senior management to optimize financial performance.

▪ Oversee the accounting and finance teams.

▪ Ensure efficient financial management, safeguard assets, produce reliable financial records, and guarantee compliance with relevant internationally accepted standards, national legislation and regulations.

▪ Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closing and preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, financial reporting, tax filings and audit activities, including audit.

▪ Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, treasury, payroll, financial and management accounting functions.

▪ Developing long-term business plans based on the financial reports

▪ Oversee implementation, maintenance and effective staff use of financial systems.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBAs/ MScs are preferred.
• CPA, CMA holders are preferable – CA is a must
• Minimumof 15 years of experience in Accounting and Finance
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations. CTA is a plus
• Excellentanalyticaland decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide teams.

Working hours

Office hours but not clear yet if it’s 6 days a week – we are waiting for clarification -please check in 2- 3 days again

 

Salary

USD 3,500 – 5,000 per month
