Job Type: Full-Time Shift- work – they are open from 7 am to 10 pm and you will work during one of the shifts.

Reports To: General Manager / Owner

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Coﬀee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our coﬀee shop, ensuring exceptional customer service, eﬃcient inventory management, and smooth cash management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising staﬀ, organizing community engagement events, and maintaining high opera&onal standards.

Key Responsibili;es:

Operations Management:

�Oversee the daily operations of the coﬀee shop to ensure a smooth and eﬃcient workflow.
Manage opening and closing procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed and the shop is secure.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Staﬀ Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise staﬀ, including baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel.
Create and manage staﬀ schedules to ensure op&mal coverage during all opera&ng hours.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to help staﬀ grow and excel in their roles.

Customer Service Enhancement:

�Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer feels valued and satisfied.
Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed customer expectations.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and builds strong customer loyalty.

Inventory and Supply Management Enhancement:

�Oversee inventory levels, ensuring that the coﬀee shop is always stocked with necessary supplies and ingredients.
Place orders in a timely manner to avoid shortages or overstocking, minimizing waste and optimizing cost eﬃciency.

Financial Management:

Ensure that all transactions are recorded properly and that cash handling procedures are strictly followed.

Quality Control:

Ensure that all products served meet the coﬀee shop’s quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and freshness.
Regularly inspect the shop and kitchen areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Coﬀee Shop Manager or in a similar role (e.g. Restaurant Manager) within the food and beverage industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excep&onal customer service skills, with a passion for creating a welcoming and positive environment.
Excellent organizational skills, particularly in inventory and supply management.
Basic understanding of cash management and financial reporting.
Ability to organize and execute community engagement events.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Education:

A degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required with suﬃcient experience.

Working Hours

This is a 5-day-a-week job

The Coffee Shop is open from 7 am – 10 pm so there is Shift- work between you and the other Manager

Salary

Between 3000 GHC and 4000 GHC depending on experience.

Trial period: 3 months
