Our Client -a Real Estate and StartUp Media firm, is looking for an

PA/Executive Assistant m/f

with StartUp personality (can work with min instruction)

Trust and confidentiality is key – Must have solid experience as a PA or EA

You will be Accra- based: most likely Adjignor or Airport City or Dzorwulu-company is moving from Tema and is looking for office space as we type this.

You are expected to be able to work independently with minimal instructions – otherwise do not apply please + no offense meant please but this is a StartUp.

 

The CompanyÂ

They are a Real Estate Property Company, owning several units.

On top of that, they are starting a new venture, a media company developing entrepreneurship content for YouTube and social media, and probably TV.

The Company was based in Tema but is currently moving to Accra

So, until they find the right office, you will work from home and you might need to go probably 3-4 times per month to their Tema Premises.

 

PA versus EA: what are the differences?Â

Before we go any further, allow us please to clarify this:

A PA primarily provides administrative support whereas an EA will, in some ways, act as a business partner. They could be expected to ‘step in’ when the senior manager is absent.

 

The Job

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Represent CEO at meetings when he is not available
• Monitoring emails and responding if required
• Preparing communications on behalf of the CEO
• Answering phone calls
• Organizing and planning meetings
• Conducting or preparing any research that the CEO may require
• Typing ,formatting and editing reports and documents
• Entering data, maintaining databases and keeping records
• Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders
• Managing databases and filing systems
• Draft emails and letters.
• Make travel and transport arrangements
• Reminding the CEO of important tasks and deadline

 

 Qualifications & Competences needed

• HND in Admin or Secretarial Studies or ideally a Bachelor’s is a must
• Some business acumen will be beneficial.

• Proven work experience as a Personal Assistant

  • Must be disciplined enough to wok remotely – you will be monitored

• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• MS Office and English proficiency
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Up-to-date with latest office gadgets and applications
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Discretion and confidentiality

 

Working Days

This is a 5-day a week job but occasionally you might need to work half days on Saturdays

 

Salary + Benefits

Target Base Salary for this role is 2.500- 3.500 net – depending on your experience and qualifications please. For SuperStellar candidates, it might be slightly negotiable

Salary is inclusive the 3-4 times a month transport to Tema
