Job Overview

The Client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing/Sales Manager to lead its market expansion efforts in Ghana and the West African sub-region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive business growth, secure key partnerships, and enhance brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive the adoption of the company’s Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) in Ghana.
  • Identify and engage potential distributors, resellers, and key clients in the energy, telecom, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Drive B2B sales by targeting solar energy companies, telecom operators, and industrial clients needing power backup solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, partnership agreements, and pricing models to maximise revenue and market penetration.

Marketing & Brand Positioning

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to create brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Organize product demonstrations, webinars, and workshops to showcase the benefits of the company’s ESS.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media, website content, and online advertisements.

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, renewable energy firms, and telecom companies.
  • Provide after-sales support and ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Gather customer feedback to enhance product offerings and improve service delivery.

Technical & Training Support

  • Collaborate with the technical team to offer training programs for distributors, engineers, and local technicians.
  • Ensure that sales and marketing teams have up-to-date knowledge of the company’s ESS products.

 

JobÂRequirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably in the energy, telecom, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong network within Ghana’s energy, telecom, and industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of energy storage solutions, lithium battery technology, and solar power systems is an advantage <—please, do not apply without such experience.
  • Ideally, you have experience managing a team selling energy storage systems or solutions
  • Have excellent sales performance in the past 3 years of work
  • Proactive, enthusiastic in sales work, self-driven, with good communication and problem-solving skills, and

Working Days

It is a 5-day-a-week job

  • circa 1500 USD gross + commission.
