Our client- a boutique hotel near Dzorwulu, is looking for a :

Hotel Facilities Manager m/f

with min 5 yrs as hands-on Facilities Manager, ideally in a hotel/hospitality setting.


The Role

You are responsible for maintaining the upkeep of this boutique apartment-hotel and ensuring that guests are well accommodated during their stays.

You need to inspect the rooms and all spaces in every unit – including all hotel- property. handle the maintenance budget, manage all repair schedules, and monitor the repair stuff staff and (sub-)contractor performance.

You will speak directly with guests and address any issues that may come up with customers.

Your goal will be to ensure our hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike.


Job Description

  • Overseeing hotel infrastructure (e.g. buildings, electricity, etc.)to ensure functionality and safety
  • Managing maintenance teams (e.g. technicians, janitors)
  • Organizing and managing repair, installation and renovation projects
  • Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities (e.g. kitchens, tennis courts)
  • Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
  • Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
  • Familiarity with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems is essential.
  • Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets both health  & safety standards
  • Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Maintain budgets, expenses and activity logs

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Maintenance Manager for at least 5 yrs
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems;
  • hotel industry experience is a plus
  • Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance management)
  • Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Required Education

bachelor’s degree in hotel or hospitality management,


An SHS diploma, with at least 5+ years’’ worth of work experienceto go along with it.

The Salary is max 7.000 cedis net, depending on your experience

For stellar candidates: with strong hotel facilities management experience , salary can go a bit higher pls
